FeaturesPages are the building blocks of Tango. Every page has a type defined, so a “person” page looks different than a “facility” page. In Tango, pages can be linked creating relationships between them. These links are bi-directional, for example an employee page linked to an organization automatically creates a link from the organization back to the employee. Tango can connect to external data held in SQL databases, RSS feeds, web services and more using Tango Apps and Data Loaders. Semandex custom develops the Tango Apps and Data Loaders for to the specific data needs. Tango can create Smart Lists — sets of Tango pages that match a specific criteria, such as events of certain type in a given area over a certain time period. Tango keeps Smart Lists up-to-date and users can set and receive alerts for updates to any Smart List. Tango supports spatial, temporal and content-based analysis. For example, Tango understands geo-locations and when events occur within a geographic area, Tango can determine who should be alerted based on proximity. Tango also understands time ranges and can perform temporal operations such as yesterday, tomorrow, within 48 hours, over the last 72 hours. See A Wiki Like No Other in Action
